Pistop epidemic

I am not sure I discovered this before, at least I can't remember.

The mod: BMW M1 Gr.4 byTrackaholics
The track: Bern (Swiss GP) by LaChub

Both qualifying sessions went without problems. But as soon as I start the race literally half the grid pits each lap. I followed a couple of cars for one lap, there were no collisons but still they went in. It seems like they are only getting fuel for one lap each time.
Have to try a different mod on the track to see if it the mod or the track is...

AI won't pit problem

I tried 10 lap race, tyre usage x7, fuel off. My tires start falling already at lap 2 and lap 3 i can barely drive so i have to pit. But the AI does all 10 laps and are not even slower. Looks like their tires are always 100%, they NEVER pit and their pace doesn't change at all.

Am i missing some settings?

Turn Off Damage?

Is there anyway I can turn off Damage for me and the AI
Im planning to do an 1000km multi-class race, and because the AI like to rub with slower classes while lapping they accumulate so much aero damage that there pace slows right down, so turning off damage will fix this.

Been using DgVoodoo dx 1-9 to dx11 for a while in all the simbin games and in Automobilista.
you can find the latest stable version here:
http://dege.freeweb.hu/
download and unpack.
Copy
dgVoodooCpl.exe and dgVoodoo.conf to the games root folder.
Open folder x86 and copy all dll's to same root folder.

Run dgVoodoo.exe

Select your adapter or use ALL.
Press apply.
Then select DirectX submenu.

Hi there,
is there any way to change the shifting-hand for the in-game driver? I have an BMW V12 LMR mod where the left hand goes to the shifter. It should be the right hand, thought. First time I discovered this.
Can I change that and if so, how ?

NVIDIA Anti-aliasing causes 'driver stopped responding' crashes only in GTR2?

I've long experienced instability in GTR2 where my graphics driver would freeze, the screen goes black, and then it recovers and the game continues as usual but unfortunately usually I've crashed in the few seconds it went black.

This only happens with GTR2.

I think I've narrowed it down to my use of Anti-aliasing parameters in NVIDIA Inspector.

The result is I'm stuck with basic "Level 4" anti-aliasing in the GTR2 Video Options app and the aliasing and texture shimmering does suffer...

Car repairs itself after reloading a saved game

So, I was doing a race recently where my car suffered suspension damage through a hit. It was shown on XD as a 95 sec repair and my steering wheel was slightly off centered. But the car was still driveable, lap times OK so I didn't pit. I didn't finish the race and after reloading next day the damage was still shown but the wheel was dead center and the car drove perfectly. No need for any suspension repairs.
After that happened I watch my damage before I save and every time I reload the...

NeelJ's 2012 Canadian Tire Motorsport Park v1_0.7 is the closest GTR2 fix for those who want a taste of what Assetto Corsa and rFactor 2 have gotten recently with their Mosport versions by @Johnr777. The graphics and track-side cars, campers, billboards, people, and more, make it a very lived in track. I don't know if I can upload this here since I don't have the author's permission but message me and I can give you a link.

Installed 10 year patch and 2005 season. Dlded shovas ffb from his page and boy am I having fun doing the NGT in 2003 with the 360!
This game is so much fun. Now I need to get it running in VR.

But loving it already! Amazing offline experience and some seriously good looking quick cars!

Slight issues I am having:
the driving school disappeared for me. Anyone know how to fix it?

Also, I would like to feel self aligning torque more. What parameter in the ffb file sould I increase?

Update 2019-11-15*: I have settled on a universal set of PLR FFB params instead of having one per car-set. After having discovered a key issue with the "FFB steer force output max=1.8" default value I was able to find a universal fit for all cars/mods. I have included the UserData PLR FFB Params you need to change below. See bottom for params. (*)Previous updates at bottom.

Race Weekend

I have been having some difficulties running a Race Weekend. I am using TransAm cars from modded from GTL. First of all, only a few cars will leave their pit box for practice. The rest will just sit there and mope! Same for Quali. After Quali, if I run a race, the qualifying times are ignored and the grid is entirely random. Any suggestions?

I've been trying out the Changing Weather Patch mod again lately. I had dismissed it earlier because I thought it introduced some instability but I think I'm wrong about that and I thought it was a good time to check it out again.

Do a web search for "gtr2 changing weather patch" to find a download. I don't own the mod so I'm hesitant to upload it here.

Once you have it simply extract the files, including gtr2wx.exe, into your GTR2 folder, and then double-click gtr2wx.exe to launch GTR2...

Adding 7th gear in mod F1-2019!?

I have the mod RMS F1-2019 and in setups menu only up to 6th gear gear-ratios can be edited - is there a way I could add 7th gear thru editing a certain file or so!? Thx for help! :)
